Gareth has built his knowledge and passion for Butchery over the last 25 years by working various shops in the local area progressing to co-owning a multi-award winning shop.
His goal has always been to one day running a business of his own. Starting as an apprentice at the age of 15 his enthusiasm for the job was soon apparent and he worked hard to quickly gain his NVQ Levels 2 and 3 in butchery.
Following a very successful first year as The Barn Butchery at Alder Carr Farm Shop, Gareth and Ella have begun a joint venture to expand and have now moved to new premises at The Denham Estate, Denham, Bury St Edmunds and under the new name of E&G Butchery and Farm Shop. The increased space in the new premises provides the opportunity to expand the range of products and services and better meet customer needs. We look forward to welcoming customers to our new shop.
